Your Role In this position, you will help ensure regulatory compliance and provide excellent support to Saab in matters concerning the shipping of hazardous materials. Your main responsibilities include the following: * Collaborate with skilled colleagues to support and train the organization on hazardous materials issues * Verify that outgoing hazardous materials are shipped in accordance with applicable regulations * Provide instructions on the packing and labeling of hazardous materials according to relevant regulations (hazardous materials rules) * Write cargo declarations * Support the organization regarding the classification of hazardous materials * Develop procedures and instructions * Involvement in export control and logistics work * Travel within Sweden may occur Your Profile We are looking for both candidates with relevant post-secondary education and those with several years of relevant work experience. You should have knowledge related to the transport of hazardous materials. If you have prior experience and knowledge in transport planning, logistics, or export control, combined with a strong willingness and curiosity to learn about hazardous materials, you may also qualify for the position. On a personal level, it is important for us that you have an accepting attitude towards others, regardless of who you meet. Respect and good judgment should be guiding principles for you in all contexts. You have strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage others. As a Logistics Specialist for Hazardous Materials, you need to be structured, capable of planning and organizing your own work, and able to provide relevant support to the organization. The position requires a good ability to interpret laws and regulations and to implement them in practice. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of systems are required; additionally, it is an advantage if you have proficiency in IFS Applications. You should be able to communicate well both in writing and verbally in Swedish and English. Completed training in ADR, IMDG, or ICAO/IATA, along with prior experience working with hazardous materials, is a merit. Your personal qualities are important, and we welcome both recent graduates and those with many years of experience. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection.
