The Special Logistics Group (SLG) is the operational logistics resource within the Swedish Armed Forces Special Operations Command (FMSF), tasked with logistics management, host nation support, supply provision, transport services, and technical services at operational and tactical levels. SLG is also developing capabilities in unmanned systems to meet the logistical needs of FMSF. SLG operates across the entire conflict spectrum with both national and international missions, collaborating with other parts of FMSF. SLG has units located in both Örebro and Skövde.

**Main Responsibilities**
Working as a logistics soldier at SLG involves solving tasks during missions, exercises, and daily operations. Tasks will need to be addressed across the entire conflict spectrum and will vary in nature. Initiative, attention to detail, and flexibility are essential for achieving desired results.
As a logistics soldier, your primary responsibilities will include material preparation, planning, and providing support to other units within FMSF. Your team will work with various methods and modes of transport, including ground transport, air transport, and maritime transport. Work is primarily conducted in smaller groups or individually.

**Qualifications**
- Completed military service or basic military training
- Preliminary grades accepted if applying during ongoing military service
- Driver's license B
- Swedish citizenship
**Medical Requirements**
- No serious allergies
- No illnesses requiring continuous or recurring medication/treatment
- Reduced color vision may be accepted
- Acceptable visual acuity, correction allowed
- Normal hearing
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Previous service in the Swedish Armed Forces with a logistics focus
- Driver's licenses BE-C-CE-D
- Military driving certificates
- Forklift licenses A-B-C
- Certificates for telehandlers/wheel loaders
- Training in hazardous materials
- Previous international mission experience

**Selection Process**
Those deemed suitable after the application process will be invited to selection tests. The selection tests are divided into two parts and will take place over approximately seven days at the end of March and in April 2026. The first part is a field exercise lasting three days. Those assessed as suitable after the first part will be invited to a second part, focusing primarily on personal, psychological, and medical profiling. Information regarding working hours, travel, and equipment will be provided in connection with an invitation to the selection test.
**Additional Information**
The position is full-time, permanent, with a start date of August 1, 2026, and training commencing on August 3, 2026. The role involves recurring business trips both domestically and internationally.
