About this role
We are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team at Perstorp Oxo AB. Do you want to be part of a dedicated team and a world-leading company in specialty chemicals? Get in touch!
In this role, you will be responsible for our sea transports and external warehouses globally, while working closely with sales representatives, the customer service department, product managers, global buyers, and the local team at Perstorp Oxo.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing logistics providers
• Procurement and sourcing in the transportation area
• Identify cost savings and opportunities for value-adding activities together with our business colleagues
• Address, resolve, and work to minimize quality issues
• Handle complaints
• Customs management
• Integrate safety as a natural part of daily work
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent
• Work experience in the logistics field, preferably with sea transports
• Ability to network internally and externally and work effectively with remote colleagues
• Proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Knowledge of the Office suite, including MS Excel and Power BI
• Desirable:
• Previous experience with SAP, Transporeon, and other TM systems
• A background in the chemical or technical industry
• Customs management

You have the capability to identify opportunities, prioritize, take action as needed, and work towards set deadlines. You are open to learning and developing new skills and have a degree of analytical thinking.
