Position: Logistics and Beverage Manager
Location: Kitchen, Warehouse, and Event Operations
Reports to: Head Chef/Operational Manager
The role involves primary responsibility for logistics, transportation, and beverage management within the operation. The position requires a Category C driving license and includes planning, execution, and follow-up of transport activities, as well as overall responsibility for beverage orders and inventory management. Support for kitchen and dishwashing staff may occur during quieter periods.
**Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility**
*Logistics and Transportation*
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the transportation of beverages, raw materials, equipment, and dishware to and from events.
- Drive a truck (C license) and ensure that loading, transportation, and unloading occur safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that materials and deliveries reach the correct destination on time.
*Beverage Management and Inventory*
- Responsible for ordering, receiving, and handling beverages.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure correct stock levels.
- Organize and structure warehouse spaces, as well as manage returns and returnable glassware.
- Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and ensure a high level of service.
*Vehicle Responsibility and Maintenance*
- Responsible for basic maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of company vehicles.
- Ensure that vehicles are used and stored according to established procedures.
*Support to Kitchen and Dishwashing (as needed)*
- During quieter periods, assist with simple tasks in the kitchen or dishwashing areas.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
*General*
- Follow company procedures and policies regarding workplace safety, hygiene, and environment.
- Interact with colleagues, customers, and business partners in a professional manner.
- Participate in cleaning and restoring warehouse and event areas.
**Qualifications**
- A Category C driving license is required.
- Documented experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation, preferably within the restaurant or event industry.
- Good physical fitness and experience handling heavy lifting.
- Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work in a structured, independent manner and under time pressure.
- Service-oriented, responsible, and flexible regarding working hours.
**Employment Type and Scope**
- Employment terms as agreed upon.
- Scope: full-time/part-time as per contract.
- Working hours vary based on operational needs and include both day and evening shifts.
