We at Friday are now seeking a technician for our customer — a company in outsourcing and IT operations currently in an expansive phase.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will become part of the customer's server and application operations team, focusing on Linux environments, monitoring, and stable delivery to numerous customers. The team works on everything from basic operations and incident management to lifecycle management, patching, and improvement work.
You will work extensively with:
• Linux/Red Hat environments
• Server and application installations
• Upgrades, patching & vulnerability scanning
• Lifecycle management and security applications
• Operational issues, customer dialogues, and continuous improvements
You'll join a Linux team of seven people with daily knowledge-sharing meetings, who help each other and collectively drive a culture of openness and improvement. A large part of the work is done remotely.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
• Have good Linux knowledge
• Have experience with operations or monitoring in professional environments
• Understand networks, servers, and preferably some Windows
• Can communicate well, document, and drive issues forward
• Have good skills in both Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have experience with Nagios Core and/or CheckMK Raw.
We are looking for someone with strong technical curiosity who wants to take responsibility for stable operations. You don't need to know everything — for our customer, ambition and willingness to develop are just as important as extensive experience.

This is a long-term consultant assignment where you will be employed as a consultant at Friday.
