We are looking for someone who wants to work with stable and secure Linux/Unix environments for a client with mission-critical operations. This role is suitable for you if you have a few years of experience and want to work closely with technology, focusing on operations, scripting, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems with high availability requirements.
About the Role
As a Linux/Unix specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation and further development of important IT platforms. You will work with the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of systems and services, contributing to a robust environment where security, quality, and safety are at the forefront.
Responsibilities
• Operation, administration, and optimization of Linux and Unix-based platforms
• Installation, configuration, and updating of systems and services
• Scripting and automation work (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Troubleshooting and incident management in complex server environments
• Log management, monitoring, and basic performance analysis
• Documentation and participation in improvement efforts
• Support to the team on issues related to operations, stability, and security
Requirements
• 3–7 years of experience working with Linux and/or Unix in production
• Experience with Bash and/or Python for basic scripting and automation
• Good understanding of operating systems, networks, and server architecture
• Experience in operations, upgrades, and system administration
• Preferably a university/college degree in IT
Desirable
• Experience with Unix variants (e.g., AIX, Solaris, BSD)
• Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes at a basic level)
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
• Experience working in mission-critical or security-classified environments
