About the Line Technician Role As a commissioning technician, you are a key player in Linjemontage's projects and responsible for ensuring all parts of the installation function according to electrical design and current standards. When stations are completed, you step in and conduct comprehensive testing and verification. Your role involves: • Testing and verifying functionality of switchgear, relay protection, and other systems at voltage levels from 0.4 kV to 130 kV, both AIS and GIS. • Using advanced testing equipment like Sverker and Omicron to ensure the station meets technical requirements and standards. • Closely collaborating with technicians, electrical engineers, and project managers to resolve any questions or challenges during commissioning. • Documenting tests and results, and ensuring work aligns with electrical design. • Participating in developing solutions and improvements, especially during renovation projects of existing stations. Your Profile We are seeking someone who has: • A technical education in electrical power, electronics, or equivalent. • Experience working with electrical power, switchgear, or relay protection is advantageous. • Ability to read and understand electrical designs and technical drawings. • Experience with testing equipment like Sverker and Omicron, or a strong willingness to learn. • A structured work approach and ability to solve technical problems efficiently. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and have good communication skills. You enjoy hands-on work and appreciate the variation that comes with participating in different projects. Travel Flexibility – A Plus The role is primarily based at our project sites, which involves significant work-related travel. 40 hours per week, often distributed from Monday to Thursday lunch, allowing you to be off Friday to Sunday. We therefore find it advantageous if you are flexible and enjoy working at different locations in the region.
