REGION VÄRMLAND
is now seeking a temporary substitute for non-emergency patient transport.
In Värmland, there are 12 ambulance stations operating a total of 24 ambulances, three assessment units, and nine non-emergency patient transport vehicles. The service also employs healthcare personnel for the service line bus. There is close collaboration with the air ambulance and emergency physician vehicle stationed at Karlstad Airport. The helicopter doctor provides additional medical support to the ambulance service.
The county’s population structure, densely populated in the south and rural in the north, combined with significant distances, presents challenges in terms of accessibility. The ambulance service is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, quality management system.
Non-emergency patient transport provides transport for patients who, for medical reasons, cannot be transported in any other way than lying down and who do not have any healthcare needs during transport. As an employee in non-emergency patient transport, you will carry out patient transports within and outside the county.

Before any potential employment, you will need to complete work tests and undergo an approved health examination organized by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
