The Infantry Group in Linköping is looking to expand; we welcome your application for the position of licensed nurse. About the Infantry Group (LVG) The Infantry Group (LVG) is a military regional group (MR-Group) and is part of the Southern Military Region’s (MR S) command capability. The workplace is located in Linköping at the Hkpflj garrison area. The Infantry Group is a smaller unit characterized by flexibility and close collaboration. Within the military regional group, relatively complex tasks are managed within the framework of both volunteer activities and the overarching mission of the Southern Military Region. The tasks range across the spectrum from peace to crisis/war. The unit includes both civilian and military positions with continuously employed personnel as well as those serving part-time. The common denominator is that everyone is included and needed in the war unit MR-Group Infantry Group. Primary Responsibilities You will conduct medical training for soldiers, primarily training those soldiers whose wartime placement falls within the category of medical personnel. This category also includes licensed healthcare professionals. For medical training, MR S collaborates with the Linköping Garrison Medical School, where you will support training to varying extents. Within the training framework, it is your responsibility—either individually or together with other colleagues—to plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the medical service training. Your role during training could be either as an educator/instructor or as a course director. Other responsibilities include regularly supporting the Southern Military Region with the management of medications intended for war units. Additionally, it involves monitoring the management of medical technical equipment within war units. Inventory of medical supplies and support within other logistics is also part of the job description. Requirements Qualifications • Licensed nurse with at least two years of current clinical experience. • Training in or experience teaching others. • A-HLR certification. • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • A driver's license (B). Personal Attributes You have the ability to work independently and in a team under varying levels of intensity, with good social and collaborative skills. You enjoy learning new tasks, are responsible and meticulous, with the ability to drive work forward both independently and as part of a team based on given assignments. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Meritorious • Completed and approved military service, Basic Military Training or Basic Soldier Training. • Experience in the Armed Forces, preferably within defense medicine. • Specialist nurse (preferably in ambulance, acute care, anesthesia, or ICU). • Relevant military medical training (e.g., BATLS/TCCC/CLS/MTR B). Other Information If you do not have a military background, you will receive the knowledge necessary to feel confident working within a military framework. The position allows for training during work hours, at least 3 hours a week. In the long term, it may be possible to engage in clinical service for a certain percentage within the framework of the position to maintain good clinical competence. Employment Type: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the authority. Employment Rate: Full-time. Evening and weekend work may occur.
