Licensed Nurse for Oncology Ward 27b, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities As a nurse in our oncology ward, you will: • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines. • Work with symptom management and supportive care for patients in various stages of cancer. • Engage with patients at different stages of their cancer journey, including curative intent, palliative stage, and end-of-life care. • Collaborate with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team. • Closely work with patients and their families to create security and understanding around the care plan. • Participate in development work and contribute to improving care on the ward.
