About this role

BUP Huddinge is seeking an additional nurse for the clinic. We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to be part of our forward development. At BUP Huddinge, you will work with experienced colleagues who have a strong innovative mindset and are constantly striving to improve and develop child and adolescent psychiatric care. The position is daytime work. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Huddinge is an outpatient clinic that delivers modern child and adolescent psychiatric care at a specialist level. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric issues in children and youths aged 0-17, with a particular focus on the treatment of eating disorders and trauma, residing in Huddinge and Botkyrka municipalities. We strive to offer our patients the right care at the right level in accordance with BUP's process maps and the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare. Our premises are located right next to Huddinge center, close to commuter trains and buses. The unit employs about 35 staff members with a wide range of experience and skills. The team consists of psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, and administrators. At the clinic, we have clear working methods and routines for how we perform our tasks, supported by strong administrative assistance. We have a collaboration-responsible social worker who assists in cooperation with other stakeholders to create conditions for other staff to focus on their professional areas. Job Description As a nurse, you will collaborate with other practitioners at the clinic, and your tasks will vary. Together with the doctors, you will have medication follow-up responsibility for the clinic's patients, regulated by BUP Stockholm's pharmacological guidelines. You will also meet patients for various follow-ups, for example, somatic checks for patients with eating disorders. Along with the other nurses at the clinic, you are an expert in your field and contribute your knowledge to your treatment team to support colleagues from other professional disciplines. Opportunities for care rounds beyond medical rounds are also available. You will document in the Take Care journal system and make registrations in Pastill, which is our healthcare administrative system. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the supervision of nurses during basic and specialist training. Qualifications You should be a licensed nurse. Specialized training in psychiatric care or healthcare for children and adolescents, as well as experience in eating disorder treatment, trauma, and FBT (Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders) is an advantage.
