The Health and Medical Care Unit is undergoing reorganization and is now expanding its staffing to meet the transition to close-to-home care. We are seeking three positions where working hours are primarily during weekday daytime, with on-call duty every 8th weekend. Weekly working hours are 38.25. We are also seeking three positions for evening and weekend service, where working hours are primarily during weekday evenings, with some daytime shifts. Weekly working hours are 30. During evenings and weekends, we are responsible for ordinary housing, special housing, disability services, and social psychiatry. Our working method is developing, and there are opportunities to influence future work. The unit consists of multiprofessional teams where nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants work together. Currently, we have 65 employees. Leadership is shared by two unit managers. The assignment encompasses care ranging from home healthcare, rehabilitation, and assistive devices to care for residents in care and nursing homes. This also includes supported living, day activities, service housing, and sometimes care for individuals with personal assistance or support through social psychiatry. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The nurse is responsible for providing safe and secure care based on the municipality's healthcare mandate. Health and medical care interventions shall be performed according to applicable laws, regulations, and other governing documents for healthcare. Care should be person-centered and performed in collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders. Nursing care is the registered nurse's specific competence. The nurse is independently responsible for clinical decisions that offer patients the opportunity to improve, maintain, or regain their health, achieving the best possible well-being and quality of life. The nurse assesses the patient's health condition, plans nursing care based on established goals, implements nursing interventions and actions prescribed by other professionals, documents according to the nursing process, and reviews journal information and other information from various parties.
