About the Role

Are you a licensed psychologist with experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry or with neuropsychiatric assessments? BUP Neuropsychiatry South-East is now seeking a psychologist for our clinic in our new, modern facilities in Sickla.

BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry includes A Single Entry, as well as six neuropsychiatric clinics: West 1, West 2, South-East, North-West, North-East, and South-West. All clinics are tasked with assessing and treating children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric challenges. Our team comprises doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries working together to provide accessible, effective, and patient-focused care. The work environment at BUP Neuropsychiatry South-East is characterized by a good work atmosphere, high competence, and quality.

The units work with medical treatment, assessments, and investigations focusing on neuropsychiatric difficulties. Here, nurses, doctors, psychologists, and medical secretaries collaborate to ensure our patients receive accessible, effective, and patient-oriented care. The role also includes medical treatment.

Responsibilities

As a psychologist, your main responsibilities will be to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents according to national guidelines and BUP Stockholm's process maps. You will:

  • Collaborate with medical doctors
  • Write reports
  • Provide feedback to families and schools
  • Support colleagues in assessing cases from your professional perspective as a psychologist
  • Cooperate with healthcare partners and collaborators both within and outside the organization

You are part of a team and have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing development within the organization’s continuous improvement efforts. You will be offered supervision together with other psychologists and can apply to participate in further training and conferences. Through feedback and ideas, you can make a significant impact.

Possibility for remote work with administrative tasks/remote contacts if the operation allows, amounting to approximately one day per week.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. If you have relevant specialist training, experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, and/or experience working with neuropsychiatric assessments and treatment, this is advantageous.

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Stockholm (BUP) offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents under 18 years within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area, which is a provider within the Region Stockholm. Together, BUP Stockholm has over 1,200 employees who annually serve more than 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal reassignment, according to the applicable regulations.

For patient-facing roles within Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • Background checks apply prior to hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during recruitment.
