The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic is a regional clinic with outpatient units in Umeå, Lycksele, and Skellefteå. The clinic also includes a BUP care department located in Umeå. BUP Västerbotten is a USVE unit with close collaboration with universities and research. Within the clinic, we work in interdisciplinary teams, closely collaborating with the patient's family and other networks.
We have clear goals that we achieve by inspiring each other to engage in creative improvement work. At the same time, we emphasize creating a health-promoting work environment in our units.
We offer professional meetings, team time, and external method supervision.
We are looking for a licensed psychologist for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Skellefteå. We prefer candidates with an interest in research, development work, and evidence-based practice. You are communicative, structured, and possess good collaborative skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a psychologist with us, you will contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. The psychologist role at BUP involves working independently and as part of a team on the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents requiring care at a specialized child psychiatric level. In your work, you will meet and treat children and adolescents with more severe psychiatric conditions.
As a psychologist, you will work with evidence-based methods according to the current guidelines. You will independently plan, implement, and evaluate your treatment interventions. You will also participate in teamwork and collaborate with colleagues as needed.
Your work with us will also involve consulting and collaborating with schools, social services, and other clinics within the healthcare system. This work enables and creates conditions for viewing the patient from a holistic perspective.
As we are a regional clinic, travel to other units may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is advantageous if you are a specialist or currently in specialist training. Experience in assessment and investigation, as well as training in ADOS and/or ADI-R, is also beneficial. You have an interest in working in a structured and evidence-based manner.
You are a confident and structured individual with a professional approach. You are responsible and easily adaptable to changing circumstances. Since we work a lot in teams, we see that you enjoy collaborating and being there for both colleagues and patients.
