Nordiskt Lärcenter is an ambitious educational institution within municipal adult education, specializing in providing quality training programs across various vocational fields tailored to meet the labor market needs of today and tomorrow.
We at Nordiskt Lärcenter are now seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher in Hotel and Tourism with a focus on reception who is interested in part-time work. The role includes teaching, grading and assessing student assignments, as well as providing feedback on demonstrated knowledge. You will also be responsible for monitoring students during their practical placement (APL) and other tasks related to the position.
Currently, we have students studying remotely and in apprenticeship form. However, we anticipate an increase in student numbers starting in January, which we have planned for as the position is part-time (50%).
We are looking for someone who can start working in December and who is available to work on-site, as remote work is not applicable for this position.
Requirements:
• Teaching certification is a requirement.
• You have an agile approach to learning, focusing on adapting teaching to individuals’ varying circumstances and needs.
• Experience teaching in various instructional formats.
Your responsibilities:
• Plan and implement instruction.
• Provide individual support and feedback to students based on a formative approach, where students' learning processes are continuously assessed and developed.
• Adapt instruction to meet the individual needs and circumstances of students.
• Participate in pedagogical development work to continuously improve teaching methods and course materials.
