The schools of Laxå Municipality are currently undergoing an exciting development process where you, as an engaged and positive educator, can have a significant impact on the education of future generations.
We are now looking for licensed teachers for after-school care for our facilities – preferably in combination with another subject.
Saltäng School is an F-3 school located in central Laxå. The school is organized into two and three parallel classes and has three after-school care departments.
Finnerödja School is a B-form school where students range from preschool to grade 6. The classes are age-mixed, and after-school care consists of one department.
Educators work educationally based on the curriculum goals through planning, implementation, and follow-up. Part of the time is dedicated to organizing break activities, while educators also provide support in the classrooms.
Working towards educational continuity requires close collaboration with your colleagues and participation in educational forums with other units within the municipality.
As an educator, you will work closely with your colleagues in after-school care, as well as with educators in the school, student health services, and school management.
We are looking for someone who:
• is a qualified leisure educator/teacher for after-school care, preferably in combination with another teaching subject
• has knowledge of the pedagogical mission of after-school care in primary education
• is well-versed in the curriculum, knowledge requirements, and other governing documents for preschool, primary school, and after-school care
• works from a holistic perspective where school, break activities, and after-school care are equally important for students to achieve their goals
• has strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with children, colleagues, and parents
• is a responsible and confident individual who is willing to share their knowledge and experiences

You will plan, implement, and develop students' time in after-school care together with proactive educators. You will, together with other educators, lead and enhance break activities and invite movement for students in after-school care during the afternoons.
