Do you want to work at a school that stands out with a strong focus on safety, student health, and collaboration between home and school? Then you are the person we are looking for!
About the Position and Our Values
We are looking for someone who is SAFE and responsible and who wants to have significant opportunities to make an impact. At Viljaskolan, we see collaboration between the school, after-school care, and home as an absolute prerequisite and the core for students to reach their full potential.
In this role, you will have primary responsibility as a classroom teacher for a primary school class and will teach most subjects. We view the school and after-school care as a whole, where the entire day is important for students' development. Working in after-school care is therefore a natural and integrated part of your position, where you, together with your colleagues in the team, ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment throughout the school day.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Plan and implement inclusive teaching in primary school subjects in accordance with the school's pedagogical model ELME.
• Be responsible for students' foundational reading, writing, and mathematics learning.
• Create a safe learning environment and serve as a role model for the students.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Maintain good and trusting communication with guardians.
• Actively work together with colleagues in the team (teachers, after-school care teachers, and student health staff) to support students' development throughout the school day.
Qualifications
• You are a licensed teacher with qualifications for primary school (F-3).
• You have experience working with children in primary school age.
• You are creative, solution-oriented, and have the ability to build positive relationships.
• Good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to implement these practically.
• You speak and communicate fluently in Swedish.
• It is an advantage if you have additional qualifications in other areas, such as learning, special education, etc.
Vision for Success in the Role:
You create a safe and inspiring learning environment, build trusting relationships with students and guardians, and develop effective collaboration with other colleagues.

• Good development opportunities and regular professional development.
• Wellness benefits and health-promoting activities.
• A collective agreement is, of course, in place.
Employment Conditions: Full-time, permanent position with start date according to agreement (initially 6 months probationary period).
Are you our next star in the Team? Send your application as soon as possible.
According to the Education Act (2010:800), we are required to check the criminal record for anyone working in schools. We do this to ensure a safe and secure environment for our students. We use psychological tests in our recruitment process to ensure the best match between us.
