About this role
Make a difference. Every day.
Are you looking for a developing role at a healthcare center? Are you interested in primary care and general medicine? At Näsby healthcare center, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise while receiving guidance at the level that suits you best.
We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 10,400 registered patients, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne's countryside. Our medical practice consists of six specialists in general medicine, two residents, two interns, and one foundation doctor. Would you like to be the doctor who complements our team?
We are a multifaceted organization with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We also have specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and we offer targeted health consultations. We have a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, an elderly care clinic, a lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone consultations and primary care triage, the initial care is efficiently handled by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. An interpreter and a service host are available in the waiting room.
Professional development is important to us, and we are open to trying new working methods. The organization develops dynamically through excellent collaboration between employees and managers. Collegial dialogue is a high priority, with regular doctor meetings. Guidance and educational matters are close to our hearts, and we have undergone a SPUR inspection with the best results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a licensed physician, you will have the opportunity to work across the entire field of general medicine. You will have a limited list responsibility, allowing you to follow your patients over time. Your tasks will include both urgent and scheduled consultations, as well as assessments for investigative patients. The work involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages with various health issues that do not require specialized healthcare resources.
For patients with chronic conditions and rehabilitation issues, you will work in a team around the patient, where our rehabilitation coordinator is an obvious support in the rehabilitation process. Since we prioritize guidance, we have a "question doctor" every week who provides knowledge support to our training doctors.
You will be offered good development opportunities with continuing education, both internally and externally, based on your interests and the needs of the organization. You will also have dedicated time for guidance each week.
Administrative time is allocated, and you can influence how you want to structure your schedule regarding this. The goal is to minimize administration for the doctors in the unit. At the same time, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and organizational development.
The position is for a fixed-term employment of six months with the possibility of extension.
