About this role

Närhälsan offers high-quality nearby primary care. With hundreds of clinics in Västra Götaland, we are close to residents throughout their lives and make a difference to their health. We value you and offer development opportunities throughout your professional career. About Us Närhälsan Öjersjö Healthcare Center opened its operations in December 2023 in brand new premises. The healthcare center is located in a completely new residential area, Gökegård in Öjersjö, an attractive nature-close municipal district in Partille with good connections to Gothenburg and neighboring municipalities. We offer both physical visits and e-services such as video consultations, self-check-in, self-monitoring, iCBT, 1177, and a chat function and online triage that is under further development. The staff group will be the hub that, together with the operations manager, drives the development of the healthcare center. We offer a stimulating and developing workplace, high competence among your colleagues, and a pleasant community in daily work. As an employee at Närhälsan, you are offered various development opportunities, such as internal training and mentorship programs. At the workplace, we actively work on development to continuously improve work methods and best meet our patients' needs. Please read more about the advantages and benefits we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website About the Job Your tasks at the healthcare center span a broad work field and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently and variedly with reception work. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who offers support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. If you are interested in a free and varied job focusing on patients and your work environment, this is the job for you. A significant opportunity we want to leverage, with a newly opened healthcare center, is testing new working methods together. Beyond the digi-physical concept that involves seeing opportunities with digital contact paths, we also have the chance to utilize and develop the competence among our staff. We work very much based on the principle of "together". We are a small work group where cooperation and trust between professional categories are important in our approach. Our nurses have extended delegation, and we work extensively with nursing competence, with many visits handled by nurses with potential consultation with the doctor. As part of this, the doctor's role is educational and consultative in daily work between professional categories at the healthcare center. Such a working method requires flexibility, willingness to cooperate, and commitment in the role of doctor with us. About You You are a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care. You possess Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We are looking for someone who is receptive and has a good approach since you will meet many different patients at the healthcare center. You enjoy teamwork, and it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work. A professional approach and good treatment of customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. We also see that you share Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative. Additional Information The position is a 6-month temporary appointment starting January 1, 2026. Potential extension is possible. Interviews at the healthcare center will be conducted on an ongoing basis. For those who have studied medicine abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain medical certification, you are covered by the new provisions regarding Basic Professional Training (Bastjänstgöring) from July 1, 2021. Basic Professional Training for Doctors (BT) is a mandatory initial part of specialist training in the new ST-2021 regulation (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to complete BT before or as an initial part of your ST. Welcome with your application!
