Närhälsan Offers High-Quality Primary Care About Us Since January 2018, we have been operating a first-line youth health center (ages 7-17) at Sylte Healthcare Center. We are proud to have been entrusted by the Region with this additional assignment and are now seeking additional staff for the unit. This assignment involves having specialized competence that can be consulted by other healthcare centers, such as assessing children and young people's development and intervention needs. We can also provide more comprehensive treatments, including psychoeducational interventions, group treatment, counseling, and parental support. The main focus is on short treatment interventions, individually or in groups, with the ability to refer patients to other care levels when necessary. Patients and their guardians can directly contact the healthcare center with this additional assignment while maintaining their existing patient registration and responsible physician. About the Work Working with mental health at the primary care level covers a broad field, involving individuals of all ages. As a social worker, you will be responsible for psychosocial care, including support conversations and crisis processing. You will guide patients in finding ways forward by increasing their awareness of their life situation, personal opportunities, and resources. This also involves collaborative and supportive work with various external partners regarding patients with complex mental/psychiatric and social issues, including substance abuse and dependency. We aim for high accessibility and early intervention, offering rapid assessment, counseling, and support. Looking forward, we wish to develop our work by enabling the use of internet-based (digital) support and therapy programs. About You We are seeking a professional with a social work degree and licensed healthcare social worker certification. You should have additional training in CBT and at least one year of clinical experience working with children and youth experiencing mental health challenges. You need to be confident in both your professional role and as a person. You will interact with diverse individuals, so building trustful relationships with patients, colleagues, and partners is crucial. Flexibility and thinking beyond traditional frameworks are essential.
