The position is located within the Social Services Department, which strives to offer the residents of Gnesta Municipality good and accessible services based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, municipal healthcare, as well as labor market integration and adult education. The department works on behalf of the Social Welfare Board.
DUTIES
Our task is to provide high-quality healthcare with a positive approach across all areas of the municipality's responsibilities. You will be responsible for the care of clients through advice, medical assessments, and medication management. The work also involves providing guidance, advice, and support to the caregiving staff. Although you will work independently, you will also collaborate with engaged and competent colleagues.
Night shifts mean that you will partially work alone in your professional role. Thus, we are looking for someone who can work independently, is flexible, and can effectively plan their time.
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid Swedish nursing license and experience in municipal work is an advantage.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to:
• Have a structured approach to work and be capable of making independent decisions and setting priorities.
• Be solution-focused, possess good collaborative skills, and contribute to a positive work environment with your commitment.
A driver's license (Category B) and experience driving a car are required. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Previous experience in municipal healthcare is an advantage.
Night work with shifts every third weekend.
