The position is based in the social administration, which works to offer the residents of Gnesta Municipality good and accessible services based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, municipal health care, as well as labor market, integration, and adult education. The administration operates on behalf of the social welfare board. The Health and Medical Care Unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, and rehab assistants. We collaborate closely and ensure a rewarding and meaningful work environment. JOB DESCRIPTION As a nurse, you will play an important role in the team, working closely with other professionals with the individual at the center. Through your medical knowledge, you will find solutions that create security and added value in the operations. The work is independent and involves both emergency and planned interventions. You will consult with doctors at health centers and delegate certain medical tasks to nursing staff. You will have a consultative role towards the nursing staff and support them in their work with patients. The position mainly involves daytime work, but the schedule includes some evening and weekend shifts. It includes on-call duties that cover the municipality's care and nursing homes, home health care, and group homes within LSS and social psychiatry. QUALIFICATIONS • We are looking for a candidate with a Swedish nursing license, preferably with experience in the field. • You are a secure and stable individual with a professional approach and are adaptable to various situations. • As a person, you are responsible, structured, and skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. • You are self-driven and can take initiative and make important decisions, but you also understand the value of good collaboration, as teamwork is an essential part of our working method. • You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have good computer skills. • A valid driver's license and experience driving a car are required.
