About this role
Would you like to become a part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to long for and grow in? With us, you will contribute to the development and growth of the entire county and work to provide the best possible service, care, and support for everyone who lives in or visits the region.
We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and engagement, where both breadth and specialized skills are utilized. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.
Region Jämtland Härjedalen is a region to long for and grow in. We aim to work toward development and growth in Jämtland Härjedalen while offering all residents and visitors high-quality healthcare. Our vision is good health, and we want to be a region that you long for and thrive in. With us, you will work alongside colleagues from many professions, with both specialized and broad competencies. You will also be a member of our employee association that offers a variety of fun and engaging activities. Primary care within Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, alongside the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Primary care is organized into four local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance healthcare have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area operates as an economic unit led by a management director. Primary care is also responsible for the region’s medical advice service, youth clinic, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.
TASKS
As a junior doctor with us, you will be part of a team of general practitioners, ST doctors, and AT doctors. Since we are located in a rural area, doctors are organized into a daily acute team alongside a district nurse and nursing assistant. Acute shifts are alternated with scheduled outpatient services, and we are currently moving towards a working method where doctors have control over parts of their schedules. We maintain an open atmosphere and collaboratively design workflows and routines within and outside our professional group, allocating time for professional meetings and ongoing training. Within Åre Municipality, we have a shared emergency and on-call line staffed by doctors from all health centers in the municipality.
Warm welcome to a wonderful team!
