Job Responsibilities Our mission includes offering early care for individuals with mild to moderate mental health challenges. In primary care, you'll encounter a diverse patient group, with a significant part of the work focused on assessing, planning, and implementing appropriate support interventions as needed. The focus is on short-term therapy, such as in areas of anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, severe crises, and pain-related issues. You will work both independently and in teams with doctors, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation coordinators, as well as in collaboration with other healthcare partners. Quality and development work is an important part of daily work. About the Workplace The 11 region-operated healthcare centers and Healthcare Centers' Emergency Clinics in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with its own board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We share a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in workplace development to meet future primary care needs. Närvården Skinnskatteberg is responsible for approximately 3,350 listed patients, and Närvården Kolsva is responsible for approximately 4,500 listed patients. Both units include physician and nurse clinics, diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics, counseling services, maternal and child healthcare, and a rehabilitation unit with a rehabilitation coordinator. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed healthcare social worker or licensed psychotherapist interested in working with early interventions to prevent and reduce mental health issues in the population. We want someone with experience in treatment, CBT, and ACT. Experience in primary care or psychiatry is meritorious for the position. We use Cosmic in our daily work and therefore value previous experience with this journal system. As the role requires communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues, excellent Swedish language skills are required. Your formal qualifications and experience are important, but significant weight will be placed on your personal qualities, personal maturity, empathetic approach, and ability to adapt your interactions. As you will be sharing your position between two healthcare centers, you need to be stress-resistant and able to prioritize your tasks. You should also be interested in development work and want to influence the assignment and working methods. Employment Terms The position is ongoing, working at the healthcare centers in Kolsva and Skinnskatteberg, with placement in Kolsva or Skinnskatteberg. 100% or 80% employment.
