Licensed Physiotherapist for a Special Assignment

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist for a special assignment in stroke rehabilitation – with a focus on swallowing rehabilitation and functional training. With us, you will work with patients undergoing rehabilitation after a stroke, focusing on regaining functions, enhancing quality of life, and increasing independence. **About the Position** In this role, you will work with stroke rehabilitation at various stages – from the early phase to long-term support. The rehabilitation is individualized and holistic, encompassing: **Swallowing Rehabilitation** - Treatment with IQoro (training will be provided) - Training in safe and effective water drinking - Taste and smell stimulation - Oral hygiene as a crucial part of swallow safety and infection prevention **Motor Training**, including: - Training of head control, posture, balance, and fine motor skills - Jaw movement and oral motor function training to improve strength and coordination - Cardiovascular and strength training for walking ability, balance, and general physical function **Activity-Based Rehabilitation** - Daily living skills training in the patient's home environment after discharge - Day rehabilitation, where patients train during the day but live at home - Training in ADL activities (e.g., dressing, cooking, hygiene) **Speech, Communication, and Psychological Support** - Speech therapy to improve communication - Psychological support for depression, anxiety, and adjustment after a stroke **Long-Term Planning and Follow-Up** - Individual rehabilitation plan that is regularly evaluated and adjusted - Support with assistive devices and home adjustments - Continued follow-up even after intensive rehabilitation **Key Success Factors We Operate From:** - Early rehabilitation initiation - Individually tailored goals and interventions - Active participation of the patient - Support from relatives - Use of new technology and updated evidence **We are looking for someone who:** - Has relevant certification (e.g., occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or another suitable background) - Wants to work with stroke and swallowing rehabilitation with a strong patient focus - Has good collaboration skills and a keen interest in functional training - Is curious about working with IQoro – internal training will be provided - A driving license is desirable but not a requirement. **Employment** You will be employed as a consultant for Vårdlänken Bemanning & Rekrytering, with varying working hours and a degree of employment based on agreement.
