About this role

We want to expand our team! Gynecologist & Fertility Center/Göteborg's IVF clinic is seeking a licensed Midwife or licensed Nurse, preferably with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse, who has a strong interest in gynecology and reproductive medicine. At our clinic in Gothenburg, we provide the highest quality care in gynecology and reproductive medicine. We started our operations just over 6 years ago in new premises and are continuously expanding our services. A year ago, we expanded with a new floor that includes an operating department. You will be part of a team with extensive knowledge and a strong commitment to our patients and the clinic. Work is performed in teams, and we utilize the latest technology, equipment, and expertise. We appreciate all employees contributing ideas for the development of our services. An interesting and meaningful job with diverse responsibilities, a lot of accountability, and potential for growth is now available. Could this be the job for you? Job Responsibilities As a nurse or midwife with us, you will have a varied and exciting role at the clinic, with activities in gynecology, assisted reproduction, and in the operating room. The work includes clinical tasks such as patient bookings, sample collection, individualized consultations, telephone consultations, record keeping, and responsibilities during surgical procedures, such as egg retrieval and inseminations, as well as monitoring in the recovery department. For those with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse, work in the operating room will also be included. You will work within a team consisting of gynecologists, nurse assistants/receptionists, midwives, embryologists, psychologists, operating room nurses, and anesthetists. You will interact with patients who come to us for fertility assessments and treatments (IVF, insemination, and donation procedures) as well as general gynecology and benign gynecological surgery. You will also have the opportunity to participate in development work and research if you wish. Your workday will mainly encompass clinical tasks combined with administrative duties, which may expand as your clinical development and responsibilities grow. These responsibilities are allocated among the clinic's staff based on interest, knowledge, and experience. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a licensed Midwife or licensed Nurse, preferably with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse and with a strong interest in gynecology and reproductive medicine coupled with several years of experience. It is a significant advantage to have prior experience in gynecological care, surgical operations, and/or assisted reproduction/IVF, but this is not a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You must have excellent communication and collaboration abilities and be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish, and preferably in English, both orally and in writing. You need to be meticulous and quality-conscious, service-oriented, engaged, have good computer skills, and maintain a positive attitude. In your work, you strive to always achieve the best possible patient interaction, availability, safety, and quality of care. Being independent in your work and confident in your role while appreciating teamwork with several professions is beneficial. It is also important that you have the drive and willingness to develop, take responsibility, and enjoy participating in the development of our services. Employment Details Start date: By agreement.
