We are now seeking Management Support for the Environmental Department
Are you self-driven, structured, and service-oriented with experience working in management support? Then we are looking for you to support our management group work and department's operational planning and follow-up. You will work in a key role where you make a difference for the organization every day.
Job Description
As management support, you facilitate work in the department management group. Based on the annual cycle, you will coordinate planning and follow-up of management group work. You will drive and coordinate the department's operational planning and support management implementation throughout the entire process from planning to reporting. Tasks include independently preparing and compiling documentation and operational data, participating in reports, and coordinating meeting planning and execution.

The Environmental Department's primary mission is to contribute to sustainable development, where the green transition is a crucial part. We do this through supervision and review of environmentally hazardous activities and by working to promote climate and energy transformation. We also provide guidance to municipalities and operators, work with contaminated areas, and coordinate the County Administrative Board's environmental objectives work.
Location: Gothenburg
We offer good opportunities for remote work during part of the work time. Travel is included in the position.
Qualifications
You have a degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) from a university or college in public administration, political science, or equivalent as deemed by the employer. You are interested in management issues, operational planning and follow-up, and have high digital maturity with good understanding of various operational systems.
Furthermore, you have at least one year of current experience in a coordinating role such as management support, business controller, project/process leader, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
As a person, you are driven and goal- and results-oriented. With a fundamentally well-structured approach, you are also adaptable to the organization's changing conditions. You collaborate easily with others because you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and attentive. You are comfortable working independently and take great responsibility for your tasks. You see value in developing and following up operations and can easily explain connections in a pedagogical manner.
