Our Management Coordinator is retiring in spring 2026, and we are now looking for a self-driven team player who is structured, sharp, courageous, confident, and flexible, ready to step into the role at the beginning of April 2026.
About the Role
As Management Coordinator at the Culture Administration, you will work closely with the Director of Culture, the management team, and the Culture Committee. The work is varied and encompasses many different aspects of the administration. You will be part of the staff and the Culture Administration's representative in the municipal staff network. Your responsibilities include committee work, property and facility issues, and preparedness work.
Your tasks will include:
- Managing the committee's annual cycle and, together with the Director of Culture, handling referrals and opinions.
- Strategic property and facility issues in the local supply group.
- Safety matters, including crisis management plans and information security.
- Contract management and coordination of procurement work with purchasing managers.
- Maintaining relationships and networking with international and national organizations and actors.
We're Looking for Someone Who Has:
- Academic education in public administration, social sciences, or another relevant field.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization with committee-related assignments.
- Good understanding of how the public sector operates – familiar with structures, decision-making processes, and navigating a politically governed organization.
- Strong ability to express oneself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English.
We Particularly Appreciate Experience in:
- Preparedness responsibility and knowledge of crisis preparedness, security, and risk management/risk and vulnerability analyses.
- Facility issues such as establishing local supply plans and strategic cross-administrative work for facility needs.
- The cultural sector and its conditions.
