Lead Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Lead Engineer – Brakes Modulation Hardware, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg. **The role:** **Design Development of Brakes Modulation Unit** **Area of Responsibility:** - Design development of Brakes modulation hardware with Tier-1 suppliers. - Set specifications, verification requirements, and integration of components to meet performance, quality, cost, and project timeline targets for components. - Define DPR/TR and conduct design reviews. Define component test plans and review test results. Sign off on PV and DV test plans. - Closely coordinate with cross-functional teams - System Architect, Attribute, ME, and Aftermarket team to finalize specifications and requirements. - Drive suppliers to meet performance, quality, cost, and project timeline targets, documenting as per NPD in the automotive industry. - Coordinate with suppliers, CAE, and testing teams for detailed verification and validation of requirements. - Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Secure all deliverables and documentation as per NPD stages. - Attend and support agile ceremonies. **Knowledge / Experience:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - 7-10 years of work experience in the automotive segment, preferably with 3-4 years of experience in Brakes Modulation System component development for passenger cars. - Experience in new product development, value addition, and cost-saving ideas from concept phase development to industrialization phase development in the automotive industry. - Knowledge of product development stages and Technical Logical Delivery Plan. - Documentation for components and systems (DFMEA, design reviews, DPR & ESOW, DV PV Plan, etc.). - Project management skills – milestone deliveries, cost management for components in ownership, PPAP. - BOM management (EBOM and Material BOM) with Team Center/KDP experience. - Competence in technical specifications, e.g., 2D/3D drawings, GD&T, and attribute sign-off documentation.
