About DFDS Logistics Services
DFDS Professionals is currently seeking CE drivers for an assignment with our sister company DFDS Logistics Services AB – a transport company specializing in deliveries to the automotive sector. The company is located in Arendal, Gothenburg, and operates around the clock six days a week. DFDS Logistics Services has approximately 250 full-time employees and a fleet of around 300 units, including about 80 heavy trucks and 220 trailers.
About the Position
As a driver with DFDS Professionals, you will be responsible for freight transportation for our client. Your main tasks include loading, driving, and unloading goods. Transports may vary from shorter trips to longer drives depending on the nature of the assignment.
The position involves shift work and is based in the Gothenburg region, with work shifts that may be at any time of the day or night.
About You
To succeed as a truck driver in this role, you need to be a stable and responsible driver with a strong focus on traffic safety and vehicle condition. Since you will often interact with customers, it is important that you have good service skills and enjoy interacting with people. You should also be self-driven, structured, and have good collaborative abilities. The role requires you to work efficiently and keep to schedules. Flexibility is a key attribute, both in terms of work schedule, tasks, and sometimes taking assignments for other clients.
Requirements for the Position
• CE driver's license
• Valid tachograph card
• Valid professional driver's certificate (YKB)
• Fluent Swedish and English
• Forklift truck license A+B (meritorious)
• ADR certification (meritorious)
Ambulatory Consultant:
You are employed by DFDS Professionals but work at our clients' sites. Being an ambulatory consultant means being employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at customer companies, with workplace, working hours, and tasks that may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the application deadline.
