The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues concerning our municipality’s residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food provision, and performs tasks related to the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, elementary schools, adapted elementary schools, high schools, and adapted high schools. TASKS One of our employees has received a position in their home municipality, and therefore we are looking for someone who is passionate about youth and education in health and social care! In this role, you will teach in the health and social care program, specifically in the program’s core subjects. The subjects you will teach will be tailored by the work team based on your expertise. It is beneficial if you have nursing qualifications as a base. In addition to teaching, your responsibilities include organizing and following up on students' workplace-based learning (APL) related to the courses you teach. You will be part of a work team that will jointly drive the educational initiatives and ensure quality in the assignments together with the principal. You will also act as a mentor for a number of students. Collaboration with the industry and workplace-based learning is part of the mission. You may also participate in marketing activities such as open houses and fairs, etc. Working as a teacher with us means the opportunity for varied work with different types of educational assignments. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is engaged and skilled at motivating students to achieve their goals. You are clear in your leadership role. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are eager to contribute your creativity and are not afraid to think outside the box. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly adapt to new circumstances. Experience/education in Psychiatry is an advantage. Teaching certification with the authority to teach in the Health and Social Care program is beneficial but not mandatory. OTHER Please attach your teaching certification or diploma. A criminal record extract must be presented prior to employment in preschool and elementary school.
