Northern Gotland School Area
Solklint School in Slite and Fole School are seeking an experienced and/or qualified teacher interested in a position that can evolve over time in line with the life you wish to lead.
The Northern Gotland School Area includes Fårösund School (Grades F-9), Lärbro School (Grades F-6), Solklint School (Grades F-9), and Fole School (Grades F-6). The area is managed by one principal and two vice principals.
At all schools in the area, we work together to ensure our students receive a quality education where collaboration among different student groups increases well-being and security at school. The small school settings allow us to engage as committed employees and colleagues who actively drive school development at all levels through dialogue. Your Responsibilities
You will teach grades 3-9 and be part of a teaching team that collaborates around our students in both subject and working groups. A well-qualified and experienced student health team is available to support you with challenging issues.
Who Are You?
Ideally, you have already completed your teacher education and possess a teaching license, or are awaiting your license. You may have several years of teaching experience or be newly graduated. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for this position.
You are a confident individual capable of leading yourself within a group of like-minded colleagues and inquisitive children. You are clear that teaching begins with careful planning. Most importantly, you want to develop alongside other educators to ensure our students reach their fullest potential in their learning journey.
You are a clear and engaging educator who wishes to work in a social context where collective development occurs. You possess good digital skills and the confidence necessary for teaching and communicating with parents and colleagues. You understand what is appropriate in social media, and your sense of confidentiality is always steadfast.
About the Education and Labor Administration
As part of Region Gotland, the Education and Labor Administration contributes to the learning and development of children, young people, and adults. Our responsibilities include early childhood education, primary school, leisure centers, adapted primary and secondary schools, cultural schools, upper secondary and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together, we create opportunities for lifelong learning.
