The Education Unit is currently seeking a dedicated and interested individual who wants to teach military core subjects in an inspiring manner.
The education in military core subjects within the officer training program aims to provide future officers with a fundamental understanding of military capability and how this translates to military benefit. It is a core component of officer training that connects to the military profession.
Position Description:
As an instructor in military core subjects, you will be at the center of the Swedish Armed Forces' most important mission, contributing to the development of competent, confident, and motivated officers. You will lay the foundation for their future and for Sweden's defense capability.
Main Responsibilities:
• To develop, plan, execute, and evaluate shooting training (competency shooting, range leadership training, combat shooting) primarily with OP and SOU students at FMTS.
• Support education in line with the military profession (e.g., unit training) mainly with SOU and OP students.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Military education to SO 7.
• You possess good insight and understanding of the military profession.
• Strong pedagogical skills.
• Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
• Driver’s license category B.

The Swedish Armed Forces Technical School (FMTS), located in Halmstad, is a logistics unit where technology is at the center. The unit’s operations are based on four pillars – development, education, workshop and combat unit production.
