Kunskapsskolan Enköping is a primary school for grades 4-9 with approximately 580 students. The school started in 2001, and in 2020 we moved into brand new, state-of-the-art facilities close to the train and bus station. To help each student reach their full potential, we need skilled teachers with great commitment to the students. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual first and are therefore seeking someone who actively works to help students succeed.
In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also be a personal mentor to about twenty students. We allocate time in the schedule for you as a teacher to have an individual mentoring conversation with each of your students every week. These conversations provide a unique opportunity for you to connect with your students and provide the specific support each one needs to feel well and achieve their goals.
While being a teacher is fantastic and enjoyable, it can also be tough and challenging at times. It's comforting to know you're not alone. At Kunskapsskolan, we have a distinct team approach where we share both setbacks and successes. You are never alone with challenges or questions, whether in subject teaching or with individual students or groups. We help each other plan work in teams and subject groups. To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on students, we have gathered most of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for approaches, assignments, and resources. All students have access to their own Chromebook, and in mathematics, students also have their own math book.
Qualifications
We need a math teacher for the secondary level who will be covering a parental leave for one year. We are seeking a confident and stable teacher. You should be a certified math teacher, well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment.
Meriting Qualifications
We are seeking an educator driven by school development who finds it exciting to actively contribute to the school's progress.
We prefer candidates with several years of teaching experience and mentoring or guidance experience. It's important that you collaborate easily with colleagues, students, and parents, and have a solution-focused approach.
We also value your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring abilities. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can build trust with students.
