We are seeking an inspiring and committed teacher in bakery and pastry.
During the current academic year, the position will primarily consist of supporting students in Bakery/Pastry subjects in collaboration with the regular teacher and covering temporary positions. The role may change for the upcoming academic year.
As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and guiding documents. You will clarify the teaching objectives for students and adapt your instruction to their knowledge development. You will conduct assessments and grade students in line with the curriculum.
Instruction will encompass both practical and theoretical aspects of bakery and pastry.
As a mentor, you will create positive relationships with students and maintain regular contact with their guardians. You will support each student based on their individual needs and track their progress towards a professional qualification.
Together with school leadership and colleagues, you will contribute to creating a safe and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable, develop, and achieve their goals. By participating in collegial forums, you will have the opportunity to develop and share your subject knowledge while strengthening your pedagogical and didactic competence.
Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified vocational teacher with teaching certification in bakery and pastry. If you are not currently certified, we can offer a temporary position while you study to become a teacher. A permanent position requires teacher training with certification.
You have strong digital competence and are experienced in using digital tools for planning and instruction.
You create good conditions for learning and have an excellent ability to explain problems and information to different recipients from various perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
Your interest in young people's situations makes you attentive to different students' needs. You have strong collaborative skills, as a significant part of the work involves close cooperation with colleagues and the student health team.
Your ability to listen to others to understand their needs makes you flexible and solution-oriented when required. As a colleague, you contribute to creating team cohesion and a positive work climate. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive work forward. You can quickly adapt your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in changes.

Additional Information
For your interview, you must bring a passport/national ID and potentially proof of residence permit if you have citizenship outside EU/EES. This is to ensure your identity and right to work in Sweden.
