Physical Education Teacher

Ebba Pettersson School is a non-profit foundation running a school. We are a K-9 school with approximately 650 students. The school has a long history as one of Göteborg's oldest primary schools. Since the early 2000s, the school has been located in Järnbrott and has a culture focused on our traditions, which are founded on our core values of safety, pride, engagement, development, and joy. We are seeking a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health with experience in teaching this subject, particularly to students aged 10-12 years. It would be advantageous if the subject could be combined with another area of expertise. The position is for 75-100% depending on what it is combined with. This could involve mentorship and another subject based on the school's needs. Teaching will take place in grades 4-6 and will occur both in the school's gymnasium and in a larger sports hall located a 10-minute walk from the school. As an educator, you have a knack for building positive student relationships. You exhibit clarity in your leadership and can foster engagement and participation among your students. As a physical education teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering PE lessons, as well as assessing students' progress and assigning grades in the subject. You will collaborate with other teachers within the grade level and with other physical education teachers at the school to support students in reaching their full potential in their knowledge development. As a person, you are calm and stable, and you show flexibility in the interest of the students' best.
