The position is located in the Department of Children and Education. We operate statutory activities in the form of preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and student health services. Additionally, the department is responsible for cultural schools, youth center activities, open preschools, and the municipality's nutrition unit. The department works on behalf of the Committee for Children and Education.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Together with another teacher and two special education teachers, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in our two groups for grades 7-9. You will take responsibility for the development of both individuals and the group, with a particular emphasis on your role as a teacher. You will maintain a holistic perspective on the group's entire day while considering the individual needs present. You will participate in meetings with the management, guardians, and other staff regarding each student. Additionally, you and the other teacher will share primary responsibility for documenting the students in the group.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
You are a certified teacher or have knowledge and experience working with students in need of special support. The students in the group come from diverse backgrounds and have various needs related to neurodevelopmental disorders. You are structured and clear in your teaching. You are able to deliver the education required for students to learn, develop, and feel secure. You view collaboration as essential and advantageous, and you actively participate in the pedagogical team. You understand that effective teaching lies at the intersection of strong relationships, subject didactic knowledge, and leadership skills, and this is evident in your teaching. Your relational skills are crucial to how our students succeed in their learning and well-being.
