About this role
Forssaklack School is a secondary school with approximately 460 students. We are organized into three grade-level teams led by the assistant principal. The teams are characterized by a permissive and supportive climate, along with a high degree of autonomy concerning issues such as student responsibility, planning, and resource use. This organization promotes swift decision-making processes, which benefit the students' knowledge development.
Additionally, the school has other teams that handle practical matters such as substitute procurement, purchasing, IT, and facility issues, as well as a team that focuses on values education and student health. At Forssaklack School, we prioritize collegial learning, which is reflected in both our work teams and subject teams. Over the past few years, we have developed a clear lesson structure in collaboration with our students. This school year, we have chosen to adjust our organization slightly and have hired three student mentors to support our students and complement our educators.
