The Education Department is responsible for preschools, educational care, leisure centers, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, adapted secondary schools, municipal adult education, as well as special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth clubs, and cultural schools. Preschool and leisure center activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with a geographical spread across the entire municipality. Altorpskolan, which is the municipality’s only 7-9 school, serves students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Knowledge Source, the municipality's secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga town. About Molla School Molla School is a small, nature-oriented school with 57 students, where each staff member makes a difference. Outdoor pedagogy is a natural part of our activities as we have a view of the lake from the schoolyard and a beech forest just a stone's throw away. We have a strong sense of community and work together to create a safe and nurturing environment for our students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES About the Position: As a leisure center teacher with us, you will have a varied and meaningful workday. In the afternoons, you will work in the leisure center where, together with colleagues, you will structure and create a safe, creative, and stimulating environment for the students. In the mornings, you will be an important resource at the school, supporting students in their learning to help them achieve their goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Holds a teaching certification with a focus on leisure centers. • Sees opportunities in challenges and has a solution-oriented approach. • Is self-driven but also a good team player. • Is skilled at building positive relationships with students, even those who may sometimes challenge us. • Is creative and enjoys coming up with various activities for the students. • Likes being outdoors; our schoolyard is right by the lake and offers fantastic opportunities for outdoor pedagogy.
