Åkerskolan is a primary school for grades F-6, as well as a specialized primary school for grades 1-6, accompanied by an afterschool program. The school is beautifully situated near varied nature in Nässjö municipality.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a leisure educator, you will work to support children's development and to practically implement the school’s curriculum. The work includes teaching and organizing activities for students in primary school and afterschool programs. Activities take place both indoors and outdoors.
Together with other educators, you will be responsible for a solid and high-quality afterschool program. Your mission is to stimulate students' development and learning, as well as to provide them with meaningful leisure and recreation. You should work to promote diverse interactions and social community.
The Department of Children and Education actively works to increase the proportion of men employed in schools. Therefore, we welcome male applicants.
QUALIFICATIONS
Åkerskolan is growing, and we need to expand our organization by recruiting more teachers. We are looking for individuals who are trained teachers in afterschool programs. Personal suitability is important, and we believe this means you have good cooperation skills, are engaged, flexible, and actively work to make the school accessible to all students.
