The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for preschool, primary school, secondary school, adapted primary and secondary education, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards "high academic results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great importance on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the management chain.
Lagmansskolan is a 7-9 school located on the east side of Mjölby, just a few minutes' walk from the transit center. About 75 people work at the school, and we have approximately 550 primary school students. Lagmansskolan also houses an adapted primary school, the municipal culture school, an indoor sports arena, and a youth center.

DUTIES
You will become part of our important collaborative work promoting student learning, where each individual is stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values.
In collaboration with homes and colleagues, you will work to promote students' comprehensive personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens.
As a teacher, you will actively work to help students reach their full potential, both academically and socially, based on established goals. You will create instruction that, through your interpretation and understanding, fulfills the requirements of both school law and curriculum. As a subject expert, you will guide and motivate students and plan and lead instruction based on each student's individual needs. You will also assess, follow up, document, and grade students' knowledge development.
In the role of teacher, you will work with a high degree of independence and make decisions within applicable guidelines and goals, while also working closely with other colleagues at the school. The position includes teaching English and French.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified subject teacher for grades 7-9 with relevant subject combination
You have the ability to speak clearly and exude credibility and confidence. You can deliver presentations, lectures, and training, adapting them to the target group's needs and feedback.
You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities.
You can adapt to changing circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives and can easily adjust your behavior to others' needs.
You uphold good ethics and sound values. You defend equal opportunities within the organization and society at large.
