It is a primary school (grades F-6) with 420 students, and there are four after-school care departments at the school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be part of one of our working teams corresponding to the grade level and teach social studies and another subject in which you are qualified. The position also includes mentoring students in the 4th grade. Your responsibilities include: • Planning, executing, and evaluating the teaching in the subjects you are responsible for • Analyzing teaching and student outcomes • Providing mentorship and carrying out class teacher duties • Communicating with parents • Contributing to school development • Collaborating with the student health team, school leadership, and external partners • Participating in school-wide values-based work • Working collaboratively within your team • Handling and documenting in the operating systems available. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach social studies and another subject for grades 4-6. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time establishing and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to effective collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and capable of planning, organizing, and analyzing student learning as well as the structure of your teaching in an efficient manner that leads to desired outcomes. To contribute to the school's ongoing digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you have command of the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you can document in writing what the operations require. Experience working as a teacher after graduation, with language development approaches or Swedish as a second language, is considered an asset. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
