The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, primary school, secondary school, adapted primary and secondary schools, and adult education. We place great emphasis on working closely with the operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the management chain.

Lindbladsskolan is an F-6 school located in the cozy area of Skänninge, a bit outside central Mjölby. Skänninge offers good communication from the commuter station and bus connections. There are about 185 students at Lindbladsskolan, and the after-school program serves as the hub of the operations. The staff has a wide range of experience and competencies.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school program at Lindbladsskolan, you will plan, implement, and follow up on the work of the after-school program. This role involves interacting with students aged 6 to 12 years before, after, and during the school day, with a focus on the students' development.

In line with the goals set for the operation, you will collaborate with your colleagues in the after-school program to create a strong educational environment based on relational approaches aimed at promoting the students' learning and development. Recreation activities are an important part of the after-school program's work and are meaningful for building good relationships and increasing safety for our students.

Qualifications

• You who apply must be a qualified teacher in after-school care and proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You have the ability to speak clearly and radiate credibility and confidence. You can hold presentations and educational sessions and adjust these according to the needs and feedback of the target audience, as well as follow up on them.
• You possess the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with individuals in diverse contexts and functions.
• You need to be a team player while also being able to take initiative and adapt to the needs of the operation.
• You have the capability to lead and motivate others, set goals and direction for the operation, and have the ability to plan and organize your work.
