Lindberg School is a rural school located north of Varberg, about a 15-minute drive from the center. Here, students have the opportunity to spend their primary school years from preschool class to grade 9 in a peaceful environment marked by safety.

The school has approximately 400 students, and 150 students begin and end their school day at the after-school program. This spring, the after-school program has initiated a process to create natural interactions across grade levels, where students have the opportunity to support each other in various learning activities.

Job Description

We are now seeking a teacher for the after-school program with pedagogical responsibility and the drive and commitment to collaborate with colleagues to advance the development work within the program.

You will work as a teacher in the after-school program, and during the school day, part of your pedagogical duties will involve planning and implementing various types of recess activities, as well as serving as a resource person in the classroom.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in the after-school program. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a cohesive thread between school and after-school care.

• You are curious or have experience leading colleagues in a learning environment.
• You have the ability and desire to work systematically in learning and processes.
• You are eager to explore transformations in both students’, colleagues’, and your own learning.
• You have the capacity to plan and evaluate teaching in the after-school program.

As a teacher in the after-school program, you are committed and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and engaging instruction. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the program by planning and following up on instruction together. You maintain good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we share the responsibility of creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
