About this role
Due to upcoming parental leave, Järntorgsskolan is seeking a new teacher starting in the spring semester of 2026.
Järntorgsskolan is Nora's largest F-6 school with approximately 280 students. The school has two classes in each grade level.
50 highly qualified educators work here, distributed across primary school grades F-6, adapted primary school, and after-school programs.
We work based on a shared vision: "Our students feel safe and are stimulated to achieve the best possible results". We are organized into five work teams with team leaders, and the school management consists of a principal and deputy principal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher for grades 1-3 at Järntorgsskolan, you will work with teaching, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is performed according to established goals and guidelines.
Your tasks include collaborating with colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day focusing on students' best interests. You will challenge and support students to achieve good study results, adapting your teaching to meet all students' needs and conditions. The work is performed in cooperation with other educators, student health services, guardians, and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the position, you must have a teaching certification or equivalent work experience.
As a person, you are calm and confident, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and challenges. You easily put yourself in others' situations, listen, understand, and show consideration. We seek someone who is structured, works according to a clear process, organizes and plans work well, and completes initiated tasks.
