About the School Area.

Nyhemsskolan is a primary school for grades 7-9. The school has 6-7 parallel classes in each grade and approximately 480 students. We are 60 skilled employees working for the best interests of our students.
The principal's area works with three overarching goals:
· Good well-being
· High school attendance
· High goal achievement
The school also has an Adapted Primary School for grades 7-9, with approximately 30 students led by its own principal.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will teach grades 7-9 in English and Swedish as a Second Language
There are 5 teachers teaching English and 3 teaching Swedish as a Second Language at the school, and you will have close collaboration.
The assignment also includes being a mentor for a class in primary school together with another mentor colleague.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educationally, you must be a licensed teacher in English and Swedish as a Second Language. It is meritorious if you are also a licensed teacher in Swedish. We prefer candidates with several years of similar work experience.
Good digital proficiency is desirable. In Ängelholm Municipality, we use the itslearning platform for communication with students and guardians.
It is also important that you have a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing.

· You are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your actions based on the situation.

· Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
You must be able to present a criminal record certificate from the police for work in schools.
Temporary position until 251219 with possible extension.
Interviews will be conducted continuously, and employment can be made during the application period.
