**Job Responsibilities**
As a general practitioner with us, your duties will involve patients of all ages. You will work both individually and collaboratively within a team. You will participate in improvement initiatives ongoing at the healthcare center. Internal training for staff and colleagues is seen as a natural part of the role. You, alongside our other specialists, will be essential for us to host training doctors in the important effort to meet the future needs of care.

**About the Workplace**
The 11 region-operated healthcare centers and the Healthcare Centers’ Emergency Clinics in Västmanland operate as an internal venture with a board of civil servants and Region Västmanland as the owner. We share a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the region. Närvården Hallstahammar-Kolbäck is a well-established healthcare center centrally located in Hallstahammar, with a branch in Kolbäck that is open three days a week. The healthcare center is close to bus and train stations, which facilitates commuting. There are also free parking spaces directly adjacent to the healthcare center if you prefer to drive.
We are responsible for over 12,400 listed patients, and our unit includes consultations with doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, psychologists, as well as child and maternal healthcare. Since all professional categories are gathered in the same building, it makes us a knowledgeable and flexible unit.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for you who are a general practitioner, preferably with a few years of experience. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and ideally have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work.
You are inclined towards development, willing to think outside the box, and see opportunities in change. Maintaining your specialist knowledge is natural for you. Collaboration is important to you, and you are happy to share your knowledge with others in the team. To succeed in the role, we believe you possess the following personal traits: personal maturity, collaboration skills, flexibility, and communication ability.
Being able to sit in the break room and talk and laugh with your colleagues is just as important as being focused and professional in meetings with your patients.
**Employment Conditions**
The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date to be agreed upon.
