About this role
Ground Workshop Skövde is a department with approximately 200 employees. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment and deliver technical system support. This involves maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and material investigation.
You will belong to the Tank/Weapon Detail and work together with another team coordinator, 16 tank mechanics, and weapon technicians. You will be part of a team that works together and supports each other. Everyone is equally important, and the work environment encourages collaboration where people support and share knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
As a team coordinator, you will coordinate, lead, and distribute daily work within the team based on directives from your immediate supervisor and existing management systems and procedures. You are responsible for conducting preparation and supporting production planning and reporting of completed maintenance production. You will manage team members in daily work and maintain close collaboration with your immediate supervisor, fellow team coordinator, and other details/departments. You will also collaborate with other functions in the country. When necessary, you may partially work as a mechanic, which is determined by production needs.
Qualifications
· Minimum two or three-year high school education in vehicle technology, vehicle specialization, or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer deems equivalent
· Current experience in coordinating and leading work tasks
· General technical understanding
· Good knowledge of repairs and troubleshooting
· Computer proficiency with MS Office package, primarily Word and Excel
· Class B driver's license
