Swedish National Grid is now looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Manager for our facility in Åsbro.

About the Position

As a Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will work with inventory operations within the Grid Division. You will have a varied operational role where you handle line and station materials, work within inventory systems, and are responsible for equipment. The inventory operations are experiencing strong growth, which presents significant opportunities to influence and develop the business.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Receive, register, inventory, and distribute materials
  • Conduct incoming inspections, cleaning, and restoration
  • Place materials in designated locations
  • Pack and label materials
  • Work in the inventory system IFS
  • Perform certain administrative tasks
  • Implement improvement measures in our warehouses

In your role, you will help develop the inventory operations within Swedish National Grid. Together with your colleagues, you will work to ensure that organization, materials, processes, and knowledge are in place to handle logistics—both in everyday situations and during crises, heightened readiness, or war.

You will be placed within the Civil Preparedness, Network – Warehouse and Inventory unit, which currently consists of four employees. The position involves contact with both internal and external parties, primarily within maintenance and technology.

About You

Essential Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is structured, flexible, and solution-oriented. You have a collaborative spirit and maintain good relationships with others, thriving in a role where you can take responsibility and contribute to development.

In addition, you have a post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the employer.

  • Several years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations
  • Experience working with inventory systems (e.g., IFS), Microsoft Office, or similar
  • B driver's license
  • Forklift certification (categories A1-A4, B1-B4)
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in:

  • Experience from public authority or public sector operations
  • Experience with materials for local, regional, or transmission networks
  • Knowledge of security protection and signal protection
  • Loader certification (C2)

Good to Know

  • The position is based in Åsbro
  • Working hours are 07:00 - 15:30 with the possibility of flexible hours
  • Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
  • Domestic travel may occur 1-2 days per month

  • The position is a permanent appointment. On-call duty may be required
