Coating Specialist at Alfing - an independent and developmental role
Are you a technically skilled and driven individual who wants to take responsibility and contribute to development? Alfing is now seeking a coating specialist for a free role that supports two coating departments in two factories. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and optimize the coating processes with a focus on quality and efficiency.
As a coating specialist, you will be technically responsible for coating and work closely with production leaders in both units. You will contribute to developing work methods, ensuring quality, and driving improvement projects, while also providing support and guidance to colleagues.
Your main responsibilities:
• Be technically responsible and support the coating departments in two factories
• Work with industrial coating and conveyor coating:
• Conveyor coating: Lesta robot, modern Wagner kitchen, and 6-stage wash from Ideal
• Industrial coating: Manual Gema guns and Adal 7-stage wash
• Identify and drive improvements in work processes and efficiency
• Support colleagues and production teams in quality assurance and problem-solving
• Lead your own projects to enhance quality and productivity
We are looking for someone who:
• Is responsible, self-driven, and solution-oriented
• Has specialist expertise in coating, hanging techniques, and work methods for efficient and quality-assured production
• Enjoys being on the production floor in a free role where you plan your work independently
• Is passionate about driving improvements and developing work methods
